GIKUTAS Division Director

GIKUTAS specialises in producing high-quality 2D illustrations across various fields, primarily games but also including trading cards, Vtubers, and advertising-related projects. We are seeking a Director to oversee the entire production process, from client briefings to schedule and quality management during production.

◼︎ Briefing & Negotiation
Conduct briefings to understand the client's desired imagery. Negotiate aspects such as the number of illustrations, deadlines, and pricing. (※Meetings are primarily online)

◼︎ Creator Selection
Select the most suitable creator for each project by considering their strengths and unique artistic characteristics. This role offers the exciting opportunity to discover new talent not only from GIKUTAS's registered creators but also through platforms like social media.

◼︎ Schedule and Quality Management
Manage project timelines and illustration quality to ensure successful completion. Quality control will be conducted in collaboration with our in-house art directors.

【Requirements】
・At least 2 years of professional experience in any area.
※No prior industry or role experience required

【Preferred Qualifications】
・Experience involved in any form of production
・Experience in client negotiations or proposals, such as in sales roles
・Experience coordinating schedules and collaborating with team members or external parties
・Experience using graphic software such as Photoshop or CLIP STUDIO PAINT

GIKUTAS Division Art Director

GIKUTAS specialises in producing high-quality 2D illustrations across various fields, primarily social games but also including trading cards, Vtubers, and advertising. We are seeking an Art Director to lead the quality of our work, overseeing everything from quality supervision of illustrations to the final polish.

◼︎ Illustration Quality Supervision
Review illustrations created by registered GIKUTAS creators, assessing composition, character appeal, and alignment with specifications. Provide precise revision instructions and feedback using red-pen markups.

◼︎ Final Brush-Up
You will enhance quality to the maximum level and make additions/adjustments to harmonise the overall style.

◼︎ Your Own Skill Development
You will undertake assignments and independent practice aimed at overcoming weaknesses and broadening your scope. Feedback will be provided by your supervisor to foster long-term skill growth.

【Requirements】
・Practical experience as an Art Director or Illustrator
・Experience using Photoshop

GIKUTAS Division Graphic Artist

GIKUTAS specialises in producing high-quality 2D illustrations across various fields, primarily social games, but also trading cards, Vtubers, and advertising-related projects. We are seeking a Graphic Artist to form the core of our illustration production team and further elevate the quality of our work.

◼︎ Illustration Production
Working closely with in-house directors, you will create illustrations from scratch based on client requests and briefs. You will be involved in the entire process of creating a single work, coordinating schedules and quality standards.

◼︎ Quality Supervision & Revision Adjustments
You will oversee illustrations produced by external partner illustrators to enhance their quality. You will check elements such as the consistency of the drawing and the appeal of the characters, providing precise revision instructions through red-pen corrections. Occasionally, you may also make additional adjustments yourself to unify the overall style of the work.

◼︎ Your Own Skill Development
You will undertake assignments and independent practice aimed at overcoming weaknesses and broadening your range of skills. Feedback will be provided by your supervisor to support your long-term skill development.
